The First Humans
Artistic creation
Naella's loneliness begot her first children.
A Life of Lonlieness
Despite the pride of the realm she single handedly crafted,
Naella quickly found herself lonely in Shadowfell. She hoped to mitigate the feeling by creating an exact replica of everything her siblings had created in her realm, with her personal touch. It proved to not be enough. She desired more. It was in this loneliness that Naella created the first humanoids.
The Construction
Naella knelt down on the blackened sands of Shadowfell and pulled wet clay from the earth. When she held a small ball of clay in one hand,
Naella bit her other to draw blood. She showered the ball with her blood before molding it into a larger mass of clay. From there,
Naella shaped the clay into a rough image of her figure.
Life From Death
Though she had worked tirelessly on these creations,
Naella didn't possess the ability to breath true life into them. Instead, they existed as husks in a perpetual state of undeath. Though they could not be given personalities, they did obey the command of their Goddess, and that was comforting enough for
Naella.
Hated Abberations
These creations were seen as abominations by the other five Gods. They firmly believed only they should possess their form.
Feugan promptly commanded
Naella to destroy them all.
Her response was to create millions more....
