In the aftermath of the crusade, their former allies pardoned the crusader's intrusion and Alabast was never formally held accountable for the invasion. The successful crusaders were officially recognized as The Order of The Ring of Truth, and were granted semi-autonomous freedom. The knightly order set their headquarters in Greenwood Fen, and quickly started rooting out the corrupt officials from the court of the three brother's father. The surrounding lands were soon to follow. As their expertise with the ring grew, they attracted all sorts of people who sought truths of their own. These deeds were recognized by many, earning some of the order's knights the title of 'Paladin of The Realm'.

As the crusade affected areas of Tiberoa were now under the control of the crusader's allies, no actions were taken against them, nor was Alabast held accountable. And when the crusaders returned, they were even celebrated by local rulers. Each of them seeking to entice the newly founded order to set up headquarters near their holds. Ultimately though, the order commissioned a small fort somewhere in Greenwood Fen. Allegedly, either Richelieu or Astav once made comment that this was because Tristyval had said he would like to be buried there while on a hunt some year long ago. After the keep's construction, the newly founded order quickly expunged any and all who they deemed unworthy of Tristyval's memory. This meant the large crusading force that eventually grew to several thousand was pared down to just 35 men. Either peaceably, or by way of the sword, it was so.   After the order had restructured itself, Richelieu and Astav quickly went to work exposing the corrupt individuals within their father's court. Soon after, the courts of neighboring counts. In time, many people sought the order, so that they too could seek the aid of truth. From matters such as legal disputes, matters of the heart, and even wartime strategy. The order aided all who sought it, from the poorest of beggars to the wealthiest of rulers, and the order's dedication to truth on Alabastian justice was so great that the highest members of the order, such as Richelieu and Astav were even dubbed paladins of the realm.
