New Lothdon

Description:

The whole style of the town is the 'Georgian style'. The roads are cobbled and illuminated by candle lamps. The fashion of its citizens is modern. However, no vehicles or working animals/mounts are present within the town, due to them being of the very primitive mindset and shunning modern technology such as electricity. Bars are popular, and there are an awful amount of orphanages and boarding schools. The main feature of the town is the first attempt at making an ironclad ship, although it can barely float or sail in the open ocean due to its primitive propelling system. A large stone wall encloses the entire city, with guards stationed at the three entrances into the city. The three main roads meet up in the center of the city, where a large fountain is placed.

History:

Once a mere small camp by a few wanderers, before growing into a town around 4280 as a sort of refuge for those of non-human races, becoming a melting pot of various races. In 4302, the city became home to William Anderson. It remained peaceful throughout the entirety to the Desolating Trials/Mesica Civil War, due to it being 'out of the way', as it was less preferred to it's neighbor, stor gård. This allowed the town to grow into a prosperous trading port. Though, it oftentimes experiences strange circumstances where children will go missing, more recently following the Desolating Trials/Mesica Civil War. Many rumor it to be a result of giants in the nearby giant territory, sneaking over in the middle of the night and stealing the younglings for their meals.

Sub-Areas:

  The Drowning Lamb
A tavern owner by Mr. Biggs (found in the Extreme Minor Character List) and well known of its cheap but quality food and drink. It has an attached inn, that is lower quality, and is right on the edge of town closet to the Giant Territory , making it less in the bussiness. It's structure rises up a good five stories, and is nowhere near in shambles.
The rooms each had a wool bed and oak bedside table, and the foyer/tavern is comprised of many oaken tables and chairs, with a bar at the back where a bartender resides and serves drinks 24/7.

Other Info:

The town is a melting pot of dozens of different races, ranging from humans, to Fyaries, to Kekomoto's, to Orcs, to Priments. Many here do not judge, crime rate is low, and many are accepting. If you wrong someone, expect nearly half the town to back them up. The atmosphere is very unassuming, allowing for ease of mind within the city limits. Even demons are not heavily despised here, which allows them to use this place as a sort of 'getaway' due to its many bars.
Fesitvals, parties, and celebrations are in plenty here, with many groups mingling with one another during holidays. Also: everyone is very civil, mannerly, and orderly. You will rarely find an article of trash along the streets.
