Higher Ones

Description:

The gods of the Alfeon Universe, and all-powerful beings that only Apocrylis Sintalus could come close to killing one of them. Their appearances can vary depending on their need, going from glowing powerful thunderclouds, bright glowing lights of pure glory, pure birds that carry emblems in their beaks, or even just their normal humanoid form. In this case, the only differences between their appearances and a humans, is they will have a glow around them, as well as an aura, and them appearing both ancient and childish at the same time.

History:

They are the most mysterious of creatures, having more secrets than anyone else, as well as plenty of theories circulating around them. What is known about them, is their appearances, some of their powers, and they dwell in a place called 'True Alfeon'. Though the theories circulating them concerning their origin are mostly just rumors, the most accepted of them is the fact they have always existed, being in existence long before time, the universe, or even existence itself was created. They have ruled in their realm for eternity and will continue to do so, being the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow, while also changing enough to continue their progress and growth.

Eternal Rulers:

The Higher Ones are always in rule over the earth and have never had their rule questioned. Each individual Higher One, will be assigned to rule over a solar system, each solar system having at least one planet full of sentient life. They are to govern it, establish their 'gospels' in which sentients will worship them, and keep the cycle of good to evil, and evil to good, continuing. Though this has caused many to see the Higher Ones as evil dictators, content on keeping the lower sentients in the cycle regardless of their will, many who have the truth know the Higher Ones know far more than they do, and as result have the cycle be the best alternative.
There is a Hierarchy of sorts within the Higher Ones, but its very unknown.

Calibers:

The Higher Ones have so many different and extremely powerful Calibers, being able to entirely reshape the earth or perform literal miracles and so on. Their power is so great its practically impossible to beat them, let alone kill them.   Immortality:
All of the Higher Ones are immortal, not having a need to eat, sleep, drink, rest, worry about sickness (both physical and mental) and old age. Though they are 'immortal', they can still receive injuries from powerful enough weapons and attacks. If they are wounded, they will bleed pure glory, instantly destroying any living thing it touches that does not have immortality. Should they receive enough injuries, they can 'die', in which case they will go into a slumber that lasts so long, it will seem like eternity to mortal beings. They will awake when fully healed, yet they can be kept in this slumber by forever being protruded by powerful enough weapons. Should they be kept in this 'never-ending slumber' long enough, eventually their immortality will run out and their bodies will decay into unbreakable stone, resulting in them truly dying and leaving behind statues that can only be destroyed by attacks and weapons capable of hurting a Higher One.   Gods workmanship:
The ability to create, destroy, and shape any matter in the world how they see fit. Although they do have to abide by 'rules' (simply structuring their creations in a way that work, as one would write a book's magic system), they can do pretty much whatever they desires, and create any worlds, creatures, or things they want. This alone can be used in massive offensive and defensive potential, able to create terrains that gives them extremely unfair advantages, or pop into existence beasts of war that can thrash tanks and cannons with ease.   Natural Law:
Due to their ultimate power, the worlds he creates must always obey their will, this means weather, creatures, terrain, and so on will always do as commanded. This means they can place a lion and a sheep together and they will be best friends. Or they can command absolutely every creature on the earth to swarm one individual. Despite this, they cannot perform this on sentient creatures, due to them having will which prevents them being commanded. This helps prevent any abuse of the power to enslave sentients, which Apocrylis Sintalus resents and wishes to learn to overcome, which the closest the Higher Ones have gotten is making a deal with a sentient and if the sentient break the deal, they can be 'smitten' (such as turning to salt). The Higher Ones can also use this to 'smite' individuals, whether it be lightning, plagues, hail, acid rain, or so on.   Voice of Thunder:
A simple Caliber, where Higher Ones can speak and the whole world (or a whole area) will hear their voices as if it came from thunder. It can also be focused to be on one individual, but be so much more impactful and carry emotion with it as well.   God's Will:
Another simple Caliber, but more for other individuals. This allows Higher Ones to give divine protection (such as against projectiles, weapons, fire, etc), inspiration (to discover new technologies or going somewhere important that the person needs, or an idea to perform an action. Though the individual still has a choice to follow this inspiration or not), empowerment (so that the individual has stronger Calibers, stronger physical attributes, more mental power, new Calibers, etc), and even give an individual visions. William Anderson benefits a lot from this, though, those with foresight and such can train the abilities so that their stronger than what the Higher Ones have given them.

Descending:

Oftentimes, Higher Ones will 'descend' to the world they govern in a mortal human form, often with the intent to convert more people to worship them, to the good side of morality, and so on. However, since they come into mortal form, they will not remember (at first) their purpose, origin, and such. This means they have a high chance of failing and losing their mortal life, having to slumber for a hundred thousand years. Should this mission be completed successfully, they will grow in power, becoming stronger and as a result, their influence can grow. They do this as a way to ascend up the Higher Ones hierarchy and such.

Hobbies:

Their hobbies vary as much as humans, though without any that cross lines and such. Humanity was made in their image, and as a result, humanity and the Higher Ones are very similar in a lot of ways. Their music, food, art, and style choices also vary as much as humans. Every Higher One has their own personality and such, keeping them all different, should one actually be able to perceive this, since most mortals cannot due to their low-level compared to the grand scheme of the universe.

Blinding Glory:

All dark creatures naturally despise the Higher Ones, and should a Higher One reveal themselves in their true glory, unworthy mortal creatures will be destroyed in an instant, true to the Greek style. Should somehow a mortal survive the process, they would describe the experience as the fear from every near-death experience compounded into one moment, but boosted to an ultimatum, with a feeling of awe being equally as powerful, while their body practically screams at them stronger than a volcano.

Guiders of the Spirit:

The Higher Ones are responsible for sorting the souls of good sentients from bad sentients and sending them to the correct places. Good souls will reside in Alfeon, forever in joy and bliss and eternal progression. While those of evil souls will be condemned to Hell, forever to be in agony and distress, slowly getting worse and worse as time drags on. Once assigned their location, they are forever bound there (though people in Alfeon could technically put themselves in Hell if they truly wanted, but no one does).
