Berion is the third-born of Iola Vandivel the Second and Kerdon Shinrow. He became a seaman and merchant-sailor like his father, though he shifted to a land-based business along the coast when he met and married a woman from Lasindin. They were assassinated only a few months after they settled along the Lasindin coast.
