The Staff of Ravens was forged, a tool to reshape the universe as if something never existed, changing records and memories.

The Staff of Ravens was created by lifelong friends Marcur Thornhide and Enegor Callraven. It required some of the energy of an orb from the Black Tower of The Elder One which both were brave enough to collect, which took them years. Both agreed that once they created the item it would be given to Marcur's god Hjuldar, but once it was finished Enegor tried to steal it to avenge his family. Marcur stabbed Enegor, killing him, and took the staff, but The Elder One realised what had happened and killed Marcur as punishment, seizing the staff and keeping it in a vault in the Black Tower.
