The Elder One

A mysterious entity watching over the worlds, The Elder One is believed to be the oldest of the gods and sometimes thought to be their creator. Though very few know the identity of this being, all know that it exists.

Legend of the Black Tower

Legends tell of the Black Tower, on an isolated island in the western seas, created when the Elder One was supposed to have created the world. When he created the other gods, he knew they would be envious of his superior power and try to overthrow him. To prevent this, he imprisoned some of his energy in a blue orb which he placed on an island in the middle of the seas, on a tower of many thousands of floors which stretched to the top of the world. Some of this energy was later stolen to create the Staff of Ravens
