EbonRoost

EbonRoost is the largest of the Frontierian settlements.

Demographics

The town is a unique mix of wealth and peasantry that usually doesn't exist in Frontierian society. His is primarily due to the fact that the crown controls who governs the town.

Government

The town of EbonRoost is governed by one of the noble houses. The noble houses are switched out every few years, depending on the queens ruling. The royal crown typically chooses a house that would be best suited to take care of the town's needs at the time.
As of the year 613, House Blackwood governs.

Industry & Trade

This town is most know for being the center of messaging thought the continent, using owl to send letters from settlement to settlement.
There is also a thriving wine industry, with two large wineries controlling most of the fertile land surrounding the province.

History

Some say that a thousand years ago, the wild cirlcle blessed the surrounding lands to forever yield crops.
In the years that followed humanities involvement, the fey that welcomed these newcomers into the region lived here together. However after the dark fey purges, the number of magical beings severely dropped until the town became became entirely dominated by the races of man.
Although the fey have fled these lands, the soil still remains fertile.

Architecture

Ebonroost is a host of smooth cobbled houses and winding streets, going arched awnings as they stretch up the hilltop towards the Solemn Chateau.
The houses are adorn with wrought iron and clinging ivy, giving the town a natural beauty.
