Volantis

This collection of Islands known as Volantis or The Volantis Isles sit in an odd location on the western side of the world. These verdant isles themselves are suspended about 300 feet above a salt flat, after a storm the flat below the islands functions as a natural mirror reflecting the sky and making the islands appear to be floating among the clouds. It is unknown weather or not the islands are afloat due to a natural or unnatural phenomena.

Geography

The Geography of the islands tends to be a cross between light forests, rolling hills, and small patches of lakes fed by an underwater spring. All of the islands are lightly developed by the inhabitances and as a result appear at first glance to be a wild place.

Fauna & Flora

These islands contain similuar plant an animal life to that of a mainland forest.
