War of the Great Houses

In a time between the Nelantus Explosion and the Founding of the Kingdom of Edral there are a great war between the two main houses of the Albenis the Ordeans and the Elthrals.

The Conflict

Prelude

In the Mystic Times before the Nelantus Explosion the Albenis people lived with a high degree of superstition the great families were ruled by magic law and switched power based on who had the most powerful mages. When magic disappeared it left the people leaderless.

Battlefield

Most of the fighting happened in the Blue Forest.

The Engagement

Because they did not want to harm the forest the war was very well contained. The participates would fight between the trees but both sides were very careful about not harming the forest and as such the land was speared the destruction that other wars in the land have caused.

Aftermath

As the war ended the formation of the Kingdom of Edral with it's Co-Manarch system was put in place. The kingdom has flourished ever since and despite a some small tests to the strength of the nation it has stood strong for centuries.

Strength

Their house was the richest at the time of the war as a result they had the best armor and weapons despite having less numbers.
They were the current leaders before the war started and as such had more of the other great families loyalties in the war.

Casualties

The exact number is unknown but based on the population after the war and the houses that pledges them loyalty in between one and two thousand.
While no exact numbers are known it is estimated that between two and three thousand were lost.

Objectives

Become the ruling house of the Albenis people.
Keep their ruling status among the Albenis people.
