iron that is found in the Hill Lands that is known for having some magical abilities.

Material Characteristics

when it it's raw form it forms lumpy chunks of dull grey and rust colored martial. When refined it can be shaped into any form and is shinny. It looks almost identical to normal iron, expect for the fact that is glows a light blue in the moonlight.

Physical & Chemical Properties

The material is moldable at high tempters. Yet hardens into a unyielding material. It is shiny grey in color and cold to the touch normally, yet highly conductive.

Geology & Geography

This substance is found mostly in the Hill Lands. Where is can be mined from veins that are deep underground.

History & Usage

Discovery

Antus Iron was first discovered when early blacksmiths and soldiers realized that some of their newly made weapons glowed in the night. They fallowed this to the mines where they figured out the the new vein of iron deep in the ground was different.

Cultural Significance and Usage

It is very valued by the Albenis people. Statues are often made ad displayed out where the moon can hit them, they are seen as good luck charms. Higher ranking soldiers will also often wear swords made of this material for their magical properties, making it possible to cut though almost anything and never dulling.

Refinement

To use this medal in crafting you need to heat it yo 3000F which is a bit hotter then normal iron. Other then that difference there is nothing else special that must be done to this material.

Trade & Market

Trade is done mostly in the high ranks of society, it is very expensive and valued for it's magical properties, and connection with the moon.
