Trade District

Home to virtually all merchant trade within the City's walls, the Trade District provides goods and services that are distributed throughout Akkadia and beyond. Full of sprawling warehouses, guild halls, shops, smithies, breweries, and all other manner of business, the Trade District is always bustling, day and night. The amount of activity and money changing hands means this district sees the highest rate of patroll from the City Watch, but even their constant presence isn't enough to keep out the criminal element.
While there may be as many as 8,000 people in the district at its busiest hours, only about 2,000 actually call the district home. These individuals reside either at their place of business or within the numerous guild halls.
