Tabaxi

The catfolk of Akkadia currently reside primarily in the Northwest District. They once roamed freely throughout the island, but the War of Undeath drove them behind the City's walls for protection. Now, they are widely known as unsavory characters, operating legitimate businesses on the surface but secretly (not so secretly) running an organized crime syndicate underneath.
There are tales amongst the Tabaxi that a hidden clan still lives in the wilds of Akkadia, having survived on their own for centuries. However, no one knows their name or where they might be located.
