Promenade, the

"Take the Highway around a quarter turn, 'till you pass that stall selling hotcakes. If you pass the big gates, you've gone too far. If you pass me again, keep going."

When citizens want to get around the City without traversing entire districts, they often use the Promenade. This wide, walled boulevard encircles the entire inner district (where the Spire is located), allowing faster access to each of the other five districts. The Promenade is also the only way to access the inland entrance to the City, which faces the east of Akkadia proper. Another long, walled boulevard runs between the Dwarven and Elven Districts, connecting the huge, double-portcullised gates and the inner circle of the Promenade.
