Noble District

The southwestern district of Akkadia has become home to its wealthiest citizens. Noble houses, successful merchants, lawyers, physicians, inventors and the like can all be found there, along with the coterie of servants, cleaners, cooks, drivers, and other "menial" workers are required to sustain their extravagant lifestyles.
The architecture runs the gamut of styles, attempting to re-create a specific aesthetic, all at the whim of whoever owns a building at a particular time. This leads to the buildings of the district lacking a cohesive feel, but they still remain opulent and impressive.
And then there is the Manor. The only building still unattached in the entire district, the Manor has been home to the illustrious Silverheart family, GAARD, the Akkadian Defenders, and now the Akkadia branch of Acquisitions Incorporated.
While not a driving source of goods and services, the Noble District houses the people who run -- or at least founded -- those companies. And while the service positions the wealthy inhabitants demand are not well-paying, they still provide employment for many hundreds of citizens.
The City Watch sends their most amiable members to patrol the Noble District, hoping to keep on the good side of Akkadia's richest citizens.
