Dwarf
Akkadian dwarves resemble very closely their mainland cousins, excepting the City-dwelling dwarves, who have become perhaps more sedentary, less muscular, and more rotund. Relegated to the City's walls for over 500 years, Akkadian dwarves focus their single-minded determination and ingenuity on metropolitan pursuits, such as accounting, banking, legislation, and jeweling.
The few scattered dwarven clans who still reside in the mountains view their urban counterparts with disdain, seeing them as soft, weak, and frivilous.
