Alabaster Mountains

Dominating most of the northern coast of Akkadia, the Alabaster Mountains serve as both the source of the Fending River and the believed-to-be home of the Great Alabaster Dragon. Few settlements populate the mountains, and several of those belong to the enigmatic Domon, a secluded race of self-sufficient humanoids.

Fauna & Flora

Typical mountain plants and animals populate the Alabaster Mountains: evergreen trees, tough low-lying shrubs, mosses and lichens; birds of prey, deer, goats, badgers, and the like.
Most notably, however, the mountains are home to the Domon. This race of slow-moving, turtle-like humanoids tend to keep to themselves, and their biology and culture are mostly a mystery.
