Lyla Wilfred

Young, excitable and talented, in the short time that Lyla has been working in The Three Mistresses she has become a sweetheart of Zafeíri, acting as a bard in the famed hotel. Known for her energetic music, rather than the thoughtful poems of some of her more experienced peers, Lyla is noted for connecting with the younger generation of aristocrats in the city, rather than the typical nobles that currently hold power. Because of this, her future fame is almost guaranteed, and her innocent reputation has allowed her to be a darling to many in the city, even if they cannot admire her music to the same degree as the younger generation.

Physical Description

Identifying Characteristics

With vibrant purple hair, and a matching purple tunic, Lyla maintains the appearance of a presentable, well-mannered bard. With a seemingly never ending smile, vibrant blue eyes, and relatively small, curved horns, this tiefling bard also maintains a wholesome nature, making her seem very approachable. At her side, at almost any time, is her life long companion; a grey house cat named Inigo, who has become as large a part of her act as the music itself.

Personal history

Born in an orphanage within the capital city of Zafieri, Lyla lived much of her life wonder why her parents had abandoned her. Although her life at the orphanage was definitely one far from squalor, he longed for something to fill the void in her life. This came to her when the renown bard, and local hero, Carrius Simara, who had once live in the orphanage himself and dedicated a fair sum of his fortune to build it up to a place of relative luxury, came to play for the children. At this performance, Lyla was given a lute by Carrius, and she dedicated her life to practicing it. On a return trip to the orphanage, a few years later, when Lyla had begun to reach her early adolescence, Carrius noted her talent in music, and took her to his hotel, where she then practiced and, later, played for the visitors there. Ever grateful for this opportunity, Lyla maintains a constant, optimistic view on life, which is reflected in many of her songs.
