Athemore

The capital of The Martéan Empire, the port city of Athemore is built on the site where the Martéans first landed. The city is built upon the cliffs, with primitive elevators carrying those who land at the harbour to the rest of the city. Many walls surround the city, with the walls getting taller as they reach the cliff side, near where the palace is built.The sections of the city get poorer and poorer as you get further, leading the slums to face the rest of The Continent, whilst the city's richest regions face the Martéan's old homeland. The buildings of the city are similar to ancient Rome, with many estates consist of villas, and even the fortified towers are topped with red tiled roofs.
