Prompt #11 In Region or geographical landmark – the Great Scar in the Wilds of the Northwest
The Northwestern Wilds -
The heavy ore deposits, common lava rivers and pools, and the lava falls, and there were many corrupted creatures. A lava-fall on one of the rocky peaks flowed into a river fed by volcanic pools, opposite the plateau of jagged rocks and tundra. There are caves willed with danger and treasure and surprisingly wide grassy areas that bloom and are filled with red flowers for one season. The snow and ice covers everything except the lava for two seasons. Above the stars follow the Halo Nebulae around the pole as green and blue auroras dance like a curtain swaying in a breeze. The beauty of the sky and the barrenness of the land are a stark contrast to each other making it a place like no other.
The Northwestern Castle, isolated by the rough terrain creating a stark, scarred landscape. In the snow and dim moonlight, it looks beautiful and desolate.
The hot springs feeds into a cave nearby and offers geothermal heat for the mostly log structure. The main exterior walls are built of stone.
