Canburn

Canburn is The Sunken Isles' primary source of minerals and gems, it is an island very rich in volcanic activity and is home to many mines run by varying interests across Aeshothar, many disappearances and mysteries stem from the caves of Canburn.
The primary area where the miners meet is an area called the Smog Lake , a collection of taverns, bakeries and places of worship where the miners can grab a meal and rest during the workday.
Many of the miners who work on the isles are treated fairly, but not all. It houses The Sunken Isles largest and only prison, a reformation and correctional camp where if convicted of a crime, you're sent to the more dangerous mines closer to the Ember Pire
Many miners live on the island of Limbo where they have permanent housing and care facilities
