Simerah

Often referred to as the raiders of the sea by land dwellers. These aquatic people often attack sea vessels to defend their oceanic hunting grounds.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Humanoid in form. Their skin ranges from light coral blue to dark seaweed green and is decorated with odd patterns of color. They have webbed hands and feet as well as fins upon their forearms, backs, and head.

Genetics and Reproduction

The Simerah mother will select the strongest warrior to sire her. She will then lay a cluster of about 12-48 eggs and leave. It is the warriors job to raise these Simerah.

At birth they appear to be nothing more than large fish. As they mature humanoid features become more prominent and they grow limbs

Salt water oceans are the ideal environment. Often settling within coral reefs.

The Matriarchal Simerah remain within the coral dwellings of their homes. Male Simerah hunt, gather, and fight for their favor in hopes of breeding their own spawn to raise.

A male Simerah should be adorned with sharp weaponry, teeth, and scars.
A female Simerah should be adorned with exotic robes and pearls.

A type of weave made from seaweed is used to make containers and forms of clothing. Weaponry and tools are often crafted from coral or bone.
