General Physical Condition
A tall stout man of muscular build. His eyes are dark green and piercing. His skin is tan and calloused. His hair is long, dark, and unkempt. He bears numerous scars from encounters with both men and beasts.

Personal history
Kailen was raised by a man who served the Vahltain Empire enforcing their laws within their colonies. This man took a Proderran Native as his wife. He would often beat her and force her to raise his children while he drank away at the local tavern.
One night while Kailen was just a boy he witnessed his father's abuse and murdered him in a bloody frenzy. His mother then staged the scene to appear as if she had committed the crime, before fleeing into the forest. Kailen and his siblings were placed in an orphanage. The orphanage attempted to teach them the ways of Vahltain law and obedience. While his siblings were able to adhere to these teachings. Kailen's natural disobedience earned him many a penance.
Eventually, he fled the monastery and began working as a farm hand and hunter. His tracking skills and prowess with a bow eventually had him hunting down human prey wanted for various crimes. Until the day he pursued the "rabble rouser", Orlon Varlkin, Anarch of Proderra. This man convinced him that no person has dominion over another.
Kailen, retired as a bounty hunter and helped the Free-Folk Militia liberate the colony.
After the war he retired to a small wooden hut outside of Elkheart. He began roaming the forests in search of Proderran Forest Tribes that his mother may have joined. This quest did not yield his mother, but instead he fell in love with a young native herbalist. They would eventually live together within his home. She would die bearing his daughter Vylee.
Employment
A hunter gatherer essentially. He hunts, forages, and cultivates the land to support himself and his daughter. Sometimes he trades his harvests and hunts to the local townsfolk.
