Bohl, Humid Wetlands
The wetland peninsula of Bohl is a dark and foreboding place
Geography
This peninsula has high humidity and a temperate climate. Rain fall is common. Sunlight is rare. There are typically only a few hours of sunlight each day. Dense fog usually fills the air. There are numerous lakes within the mainland and rivers that flow out to the seas.
Fauna & Flora
The most common vegetation is thick mosses which coat most of the lands surfaces and even the water. Fungi are also plentiful. Some being bioluminescent. Carnivorous plants are also common.
Large invertebrate inhabit the lands as well as many amphibious reptiles. Some creatures have adapted to digest bone marrow as a form of nutrition. This has causes boney protrusions to grow from the creatures.
Natural Resources
The most abundant resource within the region is a black oil which can be found beneath the soil. It is used to fuel lanterns and forges. Ore deposits can also be found. But, most notably the exotic plant life that grows here is used in many tonics and remedies and is highly sought out by alchemists.
