Aeria's Peace
The current settlements of Aeria, not even truly arranged into countries but more a group of pseudo city-state and farmlands separated by some amount of land, are not prone to go into conflicts against one another. In the multiple years since some time after the end of the First Isolations, conflicts have been few and far in between, and of much smaller scale than those not native to the continent might even believe. There is however a reason for that, and that reason lies in the past.
It is after the end of the First Isolation, after the Aarakocras evolved at supernatural speeds due to the higher magical energy density and settled in on the plane that became their home away from the Plane of Air, that lies the answer to that calm. After the flight crystals were discovered and used. After the airships were designed. Of course, now these ships are used mostly against wild threats, but they also serve as a reminder of the past. A symbol of peace, born in the bloodbath of war.
The Aarakocras were mostly welcomed by the other races already settled around Aeria, their wings made them particularly mobile allies to deliver messages that could not be relayed by magic and they learned to be skilled enough at trading to take advantage of their mobility for all sorts of contracts, so they made friends with the Elves, the Gnomes, the Halflings. The Dwarves admired them even though the fear of the sky of one race made for particular interactions with the claustrophobic race. Most humans were also open to the convenience of flight, though adults shared the children's jealousy at the sight of the freedom the bifdfolks' wings gave them. No. The threat came from somewhere else. A race now extinct, at least in Aeria. Their name has been forgotten, but they are often called the Abandoned Ones, as they had abandoned their souls to various entities in exchange for powers, and eventually gathered to bring their newfound powers against the rest of Aeria in hope of bringing it whole under their rule. They began with skirmishes to isolated humans farms and elven villages, but soon they got considered a threat to the continent as a whole, and every races allied to try to break the attacks. They weren't as numerous as the ones they were trying to conquer, but all of them were determined, had gotten more power than they should have, and their fighting style made it hard to strike at them when they had no clear base of operation. Now, at that point in time, Aarakocras hadn't yet been involved in any military conflict on the Material Plane, but the war that, perhaps ironically but not wrongly so, got called Aeria's Peace saw their aerial prowess. The combats raged on as skirmishes for a little bit less than a year, while the flight crystals were used to design the airships. When these took off successfully, each designed in unique ways by its architect, they flew as bases of operation for the various areas where skirmishes were happening and grandly helped the races that would not surrender themselves to obscure forces. Seeing that, the Abandoned Ones gathered and tried to launch an assault on the then-small city of Nalore. Their reasons remained unknown, but the military benefits of the airships did not. The united races could finally take full advantage of their higher fighter count. The Abandoned Ones never made it to the city.
