Thorin's Rest

Thorin's Rest is a small, trading town resting in the foothills of the Hinterlands, along the banks of the Hvítur River. Known for its fertile lands, abundant fishing, and healthy livestock, many consider the village blessed.
In the warmer months, the hills are a deep green, with townsfolk working the fields and livestock feeding in the meadows. When winter comes, snow blankets the land and the town retreats indoors, relying on stored food and the few brave hunters that venture out into the cold.
While not as diverse as the cities to the south, as a trade town, Thorin's Rest has a complex mix of cultures and peoples.
