White Tower
The party arrives in White Tower after leaving Silverspire with their new fleet ship given to them by Grand Keeper Ghallus. Triss has been kidnapped by an unknown group, and their only clue as to where she is from a marked wall near the docks in Silverspire. Dyne recognizes the mark from a cult-like group in Dalzenia near White Tower. Once they arrive there, the party will be able to visit all the regular shops including a tailor where Dyne must wear a mask so that he isn’t recognized by anyone still hunting him or his family. While in town they ask around for information on the symbol and they are told by some to go to a hill town called Faerda. They mark the place on their map and set off to trek through the Redgar Highlands.
Infrastructure
The city's infracstucture is centered around the use of windmills. The streets are paved with limestone.
History
White Tower is a small port town in Northern Dalzenia along the northeast coast. It was built and founded by the Dudlog Clan long ago. The Dudlog Clans were known for their use of windmills and harnessing wind power throughout the highlands. As their knowledge of wind technology grew they started to move closer to the coasts and shorelines. White Tower is called by some as the pinnacle of their architectural knowledge.
Architecture
The town itself is fortified and built around a massive windmill. The structure is well above 350 meters high and its windmill blades reaching a diameter of 275 meters. The main building material used throughout the city is limestone, hence the white color. There is also a common use of granite throughout the town. The giant windmill is used for all kinds of uses throughout the town and the surrounding area, such a making flour, pumping water, etc. Dudlog architecture is very “tower” like. Most homes are built tall, with multiple floors, and domed roof. Many homes throughout the region also have smaller windmills attached to their tower homes. The homes that do not conform to this style are primarily much shorter, with flat roofs, often used as a livable terrace.
