Personal history

Aelus was born into a poverty stricken family in the slums of Lychnus, a city in Southern Dalzenia. His father was murdered shortly after his birth, and his mother died from a sickness when he was 7 years old. There was no orphanage in the city and Aelus was forced to live on the streets and fend for himself. He survived by stealing what food he could get and hiding from the King's military. Before he was 10, he joined a group of other young orphaned boys. He formed a bond with them and together they stole from businesses and houses, trying to make a living selling stolen goods.
One fateful night, one of the boys in the group, Kaidos, was caught robbing a house at night and, in the fight that ensued, ended up killing the man that lived there. After this, Kaidos became violent and ruthless, believing to be the toughest of the boys. He pressured the other boys to do the same and take a life to prove they were as tough as him. Aelus refused. For the next couple years, Aelus was continually made fun of by the other boys and ridiculed for being weak. Kaidos started to beat Aelus every time he refused to kill someone, or something. The other boys soon joined in, beating him as well. This caused Aelus to become exceedingly bitter and filled with hatred towards Kaidos. One day, Aelus had enough and fought back when Kaidos hit him, the fight got very heated and in a moment of pure rage, Aelus killed Kaidos. In that moment, Aelus fully gave into his rage and embraced his hatred.
After this, Aelus took over leadership of the group. Over the next decade, they became infamous for their crimes throughout all of southern Dalzenia. One day, Aelus was approached by Rael who offered him a position of power in the Order of Falvor. He accepted his offer and left his group behind in favour of working for Rael, eventually becoming his personal attack dog.

Aelus is currently the "master" of the Order of Falvor.

Mental Trauma

Aelus was an orphan from a very young age, and joined a young gang of boys. He was beaten continually until he he murdered another young boy. After this, something snapped in him and he became ruthless and cruel.
