Khepri Occultism
Less of a religion than an occult tradition, Khepri Occultism is focused on the ascent from the mortal realm to eternal life as an Archon.
According to the Hierophants, the stars on the night sky are the souls of mortals, ascended in service to Helios. Through ancient rituals and devotions, a mortal may gain some of the Archons' powers in life and eventually ascend to the glorious eternity of Helios' court.
The specifics of how to ascend is kept a secret, revealed only to those deeply involved with the cult, but to outsiders, it seems clear that monuments and earthly rituals are necessary.
While Khepri is often translated as being a God in Taldoran texts, a more accurate translation would be "Heavenly Mentor" and while the Khepris reacts to insults to Khepri as a devout man may to heresy, they do not send him prayers. Rather, they study his secret texts and honor his name out of respect for his wisdom.
The actual nature of Khepri is not something agreed on. Some say that he was an Archon in the flesh, others that he was the avatar of Helios, a minority that he was a descendant of Khonshu and some even that he was the child of Luna and Helios.

Structure
The cult of Khepri is largely centered around the Hierophants living in the Valley of the Sun in the lands of the Khepri Dynasty. Here, the Hierophants and the royal family intermingle and aid each other.
