Eilis’ Motorcycle

Eilis had always dreamed of crafting his own motorcycle. Not just any ordinary two-wheeled machine, but the specialized build-your-own model that originated in Panovelle, a province renowned across the country of Thaogo for its innovative engineering and magical craftsmanship. These motorcycles were legendary, designed with an off-road capability that ensured they left no damage to the earth. The problem was, they were prohibitively expensive. Constructed with rare and enchanted Mytharyll, their cost far exceeded what Eilis could afford, and saving for one would have taken him years, if not decades. Still, he held onto the dream, knowing it was worth the wait.
One year, on his birthday, Eilis’ life took an unexpected turn. A coworker, knowing how much he longed for one of these bikes, surprised him with a kit to build his own. Eilis was stunned by the gesture, both grateful and apprehensive. As he unpacked the kit, his excitement was quickly tempered by nerves. It didn’t take long for him to realise that the motorcycle was powered entirely by pure magic. For someone like Eilis, who harboured a deep-seated fear of magic, this discovery was daunting. His coworker, however, had faith in him and gently urged him to give it a chance.
Promising to at least try, Eilis began to work on the bike. Piece by piece, his anxiety gradually gave way to fascination. The process of assembling the motorcycle became a journey of overcoming his fear, as he began to understand and respect the magic that powered it. Riding the bike for the first time was exhilarating, and from that moment on, he cherished it
It was absolutely a process for him to learn how to ride it, as he struggled with spatial awareness and had never driven anything before except a regular tricycle as a kid, so he started out just driving in the countryside where he quickly grew accustomed to it, enough that he felt comfortable to drive to his job. He still won’t go deeply into the city with it, but it at least got him where he needed to,

Power Generation

It’s powered by a blend of magic and mechanics, using an enchanted crystalline core as its energy source. The core harnesses ambient magical energy from the environment, which is then channeled through runic conduits etched into the bike’s frame. These runes amplify and direct the magic to power the engine, allowing for a smooth, almost otherworldly ride. The motorcycle’s design ensures that it operates silently, leaving behind only a faint shimmer of light in its wake.
