History

Initially founded in 8 KE by royal decree, Tantric was established as a major trade hub as well as a fortification against the threat of Keshian invasion. It is ruled by the High House of Balantine. Tantric is a city of great mystery and magic, located in the midst of the Sand Sea. It has a long and storied history that stretches back for centuries, and has played host to many great events and figures throughout its existence. The city was founded by a group of human mages who were seeking to create a place where they could study and practice their craft in peace. They chose the desert location for its isolation and the abundance of magical energy due to its location under the arcane leyline.
