Boarswood

The Boarswood was once known as the Whisperwood, when a clan of wood elves still inhabited it. These days, the Boarswood is known better for its pockets of Iron Ash, until recently quite ruthlessly cut down by the villagers of Ashton to be sold as a popular material used in crafting weapons due to its durability.
The deforestation has drawn the ire of the last of the wood elves, a blind druid named Whisper, who haunts the Boarswood in the shape of a white wolf, and who couldn't care less about the well-being of the humans that long ago drove away her clan and invaded her territory. The Eleutherai attempted to help ease the tensions, and left the area with good first steps taken.

Geography

An old, thick forest located in northern Istoria, enveloping the local villages of Ashton and Rustshield.

Fauna & Flora

Satyrtracks and the occasional pixie are hints at the fact that the fabric between the planes is thin here, and the Boarswood has a particular connection to the Feywild.
