The Finor

The Finor are a cult, who worship the Dedorasa Finoros. It was founded in the early to mid First Era. They are known for their brutal murders and sacrifices in honor of the god of spirits. One of the worse rituals that they preform is the Kires sek Nwo. In the ritual called Honor from Fire, a person is tied to a stake, which is driven deep into the ground, doused in oil and animal fat, then burned alive.

Structure

The Hendreid, Lead Preist in Marāsalurīn, is at the head of the cult. Below him are the Dreid. Dreid is the Elvish word for priest. After the preists are the Ledreid, or Low Priests. the Ledreid deal with the petty problems within the Finor.

History

The Finor are notorious for their war against the Arian government, at the end of the First Era. They succeeded in taking over for a short time until they were defeated by a mages college and a militia. Though the Finor was never utterly destroyed, their activities were more discreet after their defeat in the First Era
