Arbor

True enlightenment comes from hard work. That is the main philosophy behind Arbor. If it is art, production or even warfare, the followers of arbor spend more time perfecting their craft than any other people of the word.

Holy Books & Codes

There is no official holy book of Arbor, but all followers of Arbor treat any book containing instructions as especially valuable and will attempt to preserve it. They have a special place of revery for The Lexica Totam, though they do not accept it as a holy book such as the followers of Miranu do.

Divine Symbols & Sigils

A large X that has sysbols in three of the four cardinal directions and the bottom two lines of the connected by a third line. The symbols themselves are ancient and represent the four main concepts cherished by arbor. At the top is the symbol for inovation, a circualr rune with gabs at the top, bottom left and bottom right. Three lines pierce these gaps and connect with a small circle in the middle. At the left there is the rune for diligance, a rectangular box with sharp edges with a jagged, lightning bolt like line, sttretching from the top to the bottom of the box. On the right there is a symbol for flexability, represented by a tall rectangle with curved edges.

Tenets of Faith

Mortals are fleeting, but what they make is everlasting. A mortal should not strive for power, or waste their time with lengthy and utterly useless diplomacy. Instead they should choose a task, and perfect that task, creating something that will outlast even the most long lived creature. Anything else is a disservice.

Personality Characteristics

Likes & Dislikes

Arbor loves any kind of physical labor that creates. Masons have a special place in his heart, followed closely by smiths, as their work is the most longlasting and requires the most dedictation in his oppinion.   He favorite race is the dwarves, while he holds little regard for elves, though the elves of Imyalian are an exception as, though they may follow mainly Sune, they strive to create true art and perserve that for eternity in the frozen north.   He has a begrudging respect for Miranu and magic in general, though he and his followers both look down upon magic as less pure than craftsmanship. The only god he truly hates is Ishtal, as deceit is only for those unable to do anything themselves. He also has a distaste for Charnel, especially due to his eratic nature.
