Yondalla

Demography and Population

70% Halfling. Unlike Ghostwise though, Yondalla has more people of other races. The Stout family did achieve their goal in making it a religious sanctuary, as 20% of the population is humans, who have come to worship their gods in greater ways. Many devout religious folk who do not seek to become paladins or clerics come to this country to devote more of themself to worship, but do not swear their life to it. The other 10% is assorted races who do this as well.

Territories

They control everything to the south of the High-Hills. These were the territories that were more religious before the divide, and so they have joined the nation of Yondalla.

Military

Unlike Ghostwise, Yondalla has a small military mostly made up of volunteers of other races. This totals to a little over 300. They are called on in case of emergencies. Rarely do they ever see combat.

Religion

Religion is a major part of life in Yondalla. There are great temples in every village, made out of the finest stones. It is so important that the minister of religion is the one who gets to break ties. If there is a 3-3 tie on a vote for anything, the side the minister of religion chose wins. Many religions are represented, primarily being human and halfling deities, but there are some goliath/firbolg deities, as well as elven deities, and gnomish deities. Each of them has a place in Yondallan society.

Foreign Relations

They dont like Ghostwise. They hope that one day, they can be reunified with their neighbor to the north, Ghostwise, but for now they are seperate. Go read other articles to see what their opinions on other nations are.

Agriculture & Industry

To the north, there is a lot of mining. Granite, marble, and quartz are mined. In the south, near the capitol, they are able to farm sugar, cotton, and pipeweed. They also have many lumbermills. They do not get the logs themselves-rather they trade for them.

Trade & Transport

They mostly trade for raw goods such as wood, hop, and other resources. They sell off many of their commodities due to the great farmlands they inhabit. Many of their crops are sold north, but some of the pipeweed is traded east, in exchange for more refined goods. Mostly they do just trade for wood and ingredients for alcohol.

Education

There are no universities in Yondalla. The education is similar to Ghostwise, but different in that people are usually taught through serving the temple. They learn of the different religions, the required devoutness, and the history of the peoples. Although with the requirement of religion being this high in the society. Many younger, unwise halflings flee north, to Ghostwise. Ghostwise accepts only halflings from the south though, so humans and other races have to find a different place.

Infrastructure

They have slightly more advanced roads, with markers outlining them. The sewage is mostly thrown into the sea, carried by plumbing, but in some isolated areas, that is not a choice so they do what they do in Ghostwise. They have basic wooden walls around most places, nothing too advanced.

Legislative Body
The halflings of their villages elect two tiers of officials. Local and National. The national one meets in Strongheart. Anyway, there are a few positions in the government.  Minister of Foreign Affairs Minister of Economy Minister of Religion Minister of the State Minister of Agriculture Minister of Infrastructure
Judicial Body
Most likely the local town council will decide your fate but sometimes the person being tried will say "I AM THE TOWN COUNCIL" and then the council says "Not yet." And then the person will say back "Its treason, then" and then do a corkscrew and murder everybody. Should mention, the above only happens if the accused is on the council
