Ghostwise Mountains

Geography

These mountains span most of the southern area of Vaplall. they divide the continent, cutting off the halfling nations, as well as the Khalliarian Empire and Khalid. The mountains are fairly short, averaging a mile and a half.

Ecosystem

the area is mostly barren, as it cuts off most of the people. The only people who live here are animals, a few orc, goblin, and kobold tribes, and way down under some fire and stone giants. The only area where humans or halflings go are through a man-made mountain pass to the mining town of Jassan.

Fauna & Flora

Here have a big list of fauna -Goats -Pteradons -Eagles -Hell Hound -Peryton -Hippogriffs -Manticores -Elk -Harpies -Griffons -Saber toothed-tiger
Flora includes some flowers, pines, fungi, moss, but little lichen live in these mountains.

Natural Resources

There are only unique resources are in the western part, which has a lot of granite, marble, and other valuable rocks.

History

These mountains have divided the continent and forced the use of boats to sail around for thousands of years. Even now, no road travels directly through them. Only 2 paths go even partially through it. The aforementioned Jassan pass, and the Goliath river.

Tourism

It doesn't get that much tourism. There are no real interesting sites, its not a religious holy ground, and it is typically seen as dangerous to travel in due to the amount of monsters, such as orcs, goblins, kobolds and sometimes dragons.
