Makoto Maiko
Makoto Maiko (a.k.a. Fist of the Mountain)
The second adamant member of Mountain's Peak.
She is the strongest monk to ever be produced from Xuanzang Monastery. She has an intense friendship and rivalry with Roßweiße they both vie to be the strongest member of Mountain's Peak so far Makoto is not on the same level as Roßweiße. Whenever they duel it is either a draw or Roßweiße wins, Makoto seeks to change this. She trains daily to become stronger. To make her body greater.
Like Roßweiße she usually takes quests alone in hopes that the extra strain will make her better. Her greatest achievements are: Slaying Naga, the water deity; Subduing the Nian barehanded and fighting alone against an army of 100,000 wights by herself.

General Physical Condition
She is incredibly physically fit. With rippling abs and muscle defined all over her body. She is still slender however.

Pale Skin and scars all over her arms from her many fights.
Apparel & Accessories
She wears common robes and metal finger less gauntlets most of the time but during combat wears a tight fitting black leather suit with armoured boots, helmet and forearms.

Personal history
Makoto was born to a small Kitsune family in Stormfell. When she was born Stormfell was very poor. There was very little food and even less compassion. Her parents didn't want her to grow up in such a horrible climate so they packed up all they had and ventured south. They aimed for the capital but never made it. On the way there they were attacked by bandits. Makoto was three at the time. Her parents tried to fight back but were no match. They told Makoto to run so she did. With nothing but a ring to remember them she kept going until she couldn't run anymore. She fell unconscious and awoke at a monastery.
She was told that the elder found her within the plains about to be eaten by a hill giant. He fought off the hill giant and tried to look for her parents. He couldn't find them so he brought Makoto back to the monastery to rest. She was told they could look for them when she's better. She told them there was no point, they were dead. The elder tried to convince her otherwise but she wouldn't listen. She asked to stay at the monastery and be taught how to fight. She was determined to become stronger so she could prevent anyone from having to go through what she went through. The elder agreed and she began her training.
As she trained she quickly became better than her peers. Pushing herself beyond her limits day after day she kept getting better until evnetually she was given the last test: to prove oneself in front of the elder. She took her stance and they fought. The goal is to stay within the bounds of the court until the bell rings but Makoto did better. She bested the elder and threw him out of the court. Everyone was stunned. The elder told her how proud he was. He gifted her the reward for passing the tests: A great weapon of Xuanzang. With it she thanked the monks for everything and set out to help people quickly finding herself joining the Yeti's Roar guild.
While at the guild she quickly showed herself to be better than everyone else. She completed quests by herself and quickly. She helped many many people gaining a reputation that spread to the ears of Astrid. Astrid sent a test for Makoto, Roßweiße was sent to Yeti's Roar. When they met they fought, it was a draw. Roßweiße offered Makoto an invitation to join Mountain's Peak. Makoto was hesitant she like Yeti's Roar and was helping people. After thinking for a few days Makoto realised that if she joined Mountain's Peak she might be able to learn from Astrid and become stronger. If she became stronger she would be able to help more people.
She has had a very successful career at Mountain's Peak. Being named the Fist of the Mountain and becoming rank Adamant. She really helped to clean up Skadi's Rest as well. Until the Order came. Makoto quickly came to despise them, she antagonised guards consistently. Many times beating them into a pulp. It is only by Astrid's demand that she hasn't been executed for treason. Makoto came to learn quickly that Astrid too hates the Order so she will not stop Makoto from letting out her anger.
