Personal history
Coren was born to the Andfeng, a group of fae that stand against the peaceful attitude of the Titanians. They serve as protectors of the fae, they mainly made up of animalistic humanoids, Dennmann(Cat-People), Centaurs and similar.
His clan was one of the first to defy the Titanian decree of pacifism, standing in defence of their homeland they have brought the ire of many mortal leaders. But through thick and thin they have never faltered... Until one night. In the dead of the night, the forest around them erupted into flames. The sound of war drums beat throughout the forest, deafening all with enhanced senses. This was the first attack the Order launched on the fae. This was their declaration of war. They slaughtered each and every man, woman and child. Coren's parents tried to escape with him, but they were cornered against a cliff. Coren's mother fought off the soldiers as Coren and his father began scaling the cliff. By herself, she was able to fight off several guards but they quickly overwhelmed her. Coren, age 6, wasn't developed enough to be able to understand that she was doing this for him. He jumped out of his father's arms and tried to save his mother. Managing to kill two of the soldiers and maim a few others, he reached his mother but she was already dead. His father dropped down as the soldiers surrounded Coren. Blocking their spears with his body, he told Coren to run. Coren would never run. He picked up one of the soldiers bows and tried to fight back. He took down three before he ran into a tall, dark-skinned man. The man picked up the child and told the guards that none were to harm him.
This man was Dias Scarlett. He tied Coren up and told him he was going to the capital. Coren was brought into Dias' secret military project: The Order's Viper. He told Coren that he was special, his skills were something that should be nurtured. With that Coren was subject to years and years of gruelling training and mental reconditioning. Taught to kill from the shadows all in the name of the Order.
As Dias said, Coren's skills were unnatural, even to his kind. He was quick, strong and cunning. He surely would have been a great boon to his clan if he was allowed to stay there. These thoughts would burn through Coren's mind in quiet moments, but he would always push them out. He served the Order, and the Order was great.
He found great enjoyment in the competition he had with the others. Though he quickly came to hate the Vipers leader. A young Blood Angel by the name of Aka, she was quicker, stronger and smarter than Coren. He hated it; a competition with no chance for victory is not a competition. As such he was very happy when he found out that she had run away. He saw this as his chance to get better than her and then when they met again he would be the one to bring her head back to the Order.
Shortly after Aka fleed from the Order, another blood angel was promoted to the Order's Viper. Coren wasn't stupid enough to not realise they were Aka's sister. At first, he thought this would be another Aka situation but he quickly realised that her sister didn't have the same strength as her. Their competition was much fairer. Even if he lost most of the time he always knew there was a chance for victory and 3rd place wasn't that bad.
Coren proved himself devoted to the Order and incredibly capable and so was finally given his own mission. In the year 246AMK, he was sent to infiltrate the Giant's Wonder guild and watch the guild master. The High Minister believes she is plotting to rebel, Coren was to ensure that never happened.
When he arrived at giant's Wonder he was greeted with open arms by everyone who had never seen a Dennmann before. He was saved from the crowd by Ostion who recognised and sympathised with his fellow fae. Ostion took him to the guild master, he asked her to join the guild and she accepted him with little conflict.
Coren's time at the guild hasn't been wholly bad, after getting to know Lucky and Lucy he developed a decently close bond with them. Being named the third and final member of the Fae's Trio. He would report the guilds activities to the Order every month, his reports were barely different from each other. At this point he can tell the high minister's fear of the guild has been dropping as he has begun to receive targets more regularly. He would do these jobs under the lie that he was heading to his homeland.
