Magic

Magic is the manifestation of will and creation shaping reality itself. Long before living memory, magic flowed freely, responding to the thoughts and emotions of all living beings. However, its volatile and unpredictable nature led the goddess of magic, Mystra, to intervene. Mystra created the Weave, a structured framework to channel magic in more predictable ways. Through the Weave, magic takes form as thin strands connecting everything, visible only to those with true talent and insight into the mystical arts.
