Garfaxin Forest

The Garfaxin Forest is a mythical jungle located between the The MechaGods Kingdom and Garfaxin Kingdom. It is particularly known for the bizarre flora and fauna that run through the jungle. Some notable mentions of such bizarre living beings are the Kainoa trees, which grow sideways like creepers but resemble trees. Some shrubs like the Blue Bushes are a spectacular electric-blue coloured species, which started growing as a result of theEruption of Mount Forge.

Geography

The Garfaxin Forest is a huge jungle and it spans a large distance, starting from the Mountains of the North to the Parfelus Delta in the South. It exists around the Ardelus lakes, as well as some rolling hills in the South. It also occupies some of the bases of the Mountains of the North. The natural beauty of the jungle keeps changing from wherever you are seeing it, but the most beautiful view is when the sun sets on the forest's canopy.

Fauna & Flora

The vast amount of interestingly bizarre animals and plants here are endless. This is the main reason why people choose to visit the forest at least once in their lives. Some of the flora present are amazing, like the Gingham flower that grows only around the Ardelus lakes and blooms only once in a green moon. When it blooms, its blue, pointy petals lean out, revealing multiple stalks full of pollen. When it does so, it gives out a special kind of smell that attracts all kinds of bees. The one that comes the most is famously called Bee of the Night, a peculiar bee with three stingers. it carries the seeds and scatters them all around the lakes. Another flower that is known is called the Harleuis Flower, named so because it blooms when the Harleuis constellation shines bright in the sky. It is a sky blue colour when it blooms. The most interesting thing about this flower though is its size. You see, it's not like an ordinary flower which is about 30-40cm tall. It's almost 10 metres in height.

Natural Resources

The Garfaxin Forest is a huge source of wood and other necessary commodities. Oils are made by extracting particular essences from different varieties of plants. For example, a type of liquidy-sky blue oil is made by extracting pigments and other necessary oils from the petals of the Harleuis flower. Other than that, not much is exploited from the forest as it is necessary to keep it living, with all its bizarre flora and fauna, for the coming generations to see and enjoy it.

History

The history of the Forest of Death spans a long time back. Legends recite the myth of the forest as a single drop of nectar falling on the ground and bringing it to life. Apparently the nectar enriched the soil and brought together the first plants. But science says otherwise. Arborists of the time said that the forest actually spawned from volcanic ash formed by the Mountains of the North erupting tens of thousands years ago. The forest slowly started there and grew towards the south until it reached the sea. Recent history includes things like the Garfaxins taking over most of the forest and using it as their kingdom. They made it a part of their culture, a part of their lives, entirely. Now they depend on the forest for everything-food, shelter, and other necessities.

Tourism

Not many people visit the Garfaxin Kingdom side of the forest because they're afraid they'll get murdered by the Garfaxins, so they usually visit The MechaGods Kingdom side of the forest. Many tour guides are available along with tour buses that are completely safe so they can take people around in the forest. But they mostly choose to avoid the Wizard's Territory and the Tower of Wizards.
