Ecology and Habitats
Paka prefer to live in secluded areas surrounded by nature either alone or with their Mate. Because The Purge forced the Paka to move to Acatane they now live together in a small part of the city. They prefer to keep to themselves in their small community.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Paka live on a large diet of meat because they require a lot of protein to keep their muscles in shape as well as the energy it takes to shift. They continually exercise daily to keep fit and strengthen their muscles, as Paka muscles are specifically designed to be able to change. If they are weak, the muscles would stretch and rip apart. Their skin is also susceptible to drying out during the shifting process so they have a special moisturiser they use when shifting frequently (which is 90% of the population). As an extra precaution they keep a steady diet of foods containing Vitamin A to keep their skin healthy.
Biological Cycle
Paka are born with the ability to shift but must be trained and assessed before they are allowed to try. Most perfrom their first shift at 15 years old but some need longer training.
