Elf
Elves are elegant Fae-Humaniods with pointed ears. The reason why elves originally left the fae realm for the natural realm, is controversial. Some circles think that is was to save nature from man's harmful influence. Others think the fae realm has actually collapsed, stranding them here. Elves live such a long time that their origin was before history started being recorded.

Basic Information
Biological Traits
Elves are considered young until 100 years old, although most other races recognize them as adult around age 30. Elves never appear elderly. The oldest elf of record lived to 803 years old and simply slipped away in his sleep. Elves are only capable of remembering 300 years of their life at a time. Most carefully record their lives in books, as to not lose any knowledge they've gained. It's not uncommon for an elf over 300 years old to read their own books when studying a subject.
