Trolls

Of all the mutant humans out there, the trolls have it worst. What do you get when you combine direct unfiltered wild mutagenic magic and apply it to a human? A troll. Generally a dead troll, dying as their organs mutate in deadly ways - but sometimes an unfortunate soul survives the mutating process. Stacking misery onto misery, the mutating process might have a horrible toll on the mind of the victim or not. A troll might look like a monster and retain their sanity - only to be killed by scared peasants, and someone could become a twisted monster, their mutations carefully hidden under clothing - like a wolf in sheep's clothing.
