Requiem

We don't go near the seas controlled by the Requiem. If you don't find us their sharks will.
  The requiem are based off the requiem sharks native to the warm waters of the world. These sharks are one of the most dangerous sharks in the world. They seemed like a good shark to pick on for a warlike people.   Requiem are Shark Mer that are part human and part shark-tailed people.There are a few other Mer who are requiem are not shark-like.   These people are war-like and are not afraid to attack anyone who crosses into their waters.

Culture

Common Dress code

Everyone is supposed to wear cloth shirts. When leaving a town it is not uncommon for Requiem to be dressed in all-out mail armor.

Ideals

Beauty Ideals

Light-colored tails with stripes and patterns. A good form body that is firm and muscular.

Gender Ideals

Female Gender Ideals

Even the women have teeth.
  Woman are allowed to fight and take care of themselves. Although it is something that they can do a woman is also suppose to stay home and take care of and protect the children. The women do beauty ideals that they are supposed to follow.  

Male Gender Ideals

They seem to been born to fight.
  The men are fighter types that are supposed to protect the rest of the people are the kingdom.

Relationship Ideals

Marraige

  Ideally, marriage is between a female and a male. The male being the dominant partner, and the one "wearing the pants" so to speak. The woman does what she can to please her husband and take care of the home. The man protects the country and the home.   It is not uncommon for two males to be close. Not married as we think of marriage, but battle partners. A pare like this are normally fighting pare. They are to protect the country and the town. It is also not uncommon for a fighting pare like this to also be married to a female.
