Dosią's Music Box

A music box that plays a mysterious song that used to belong to Dosią Étienne prior to her death.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

Like other music boxes, Dosią's has a drum and tines inside that play the song. There is a small metal stick with a bird at the end (as pictured) that is inserted into the side that, when turned, causes the music to play. The lid can be lifted to reveal a small compartment inside, along with the drum and tines.

Significance

Shortly after her fall to the earth, Dosią bought this music box which played an unknown song. She was somehow able to match it to lyrics in Starspeak. She sang this song to Lucelle Étienne before her death, after which the music box was passed down to Lucelle. Lucelle remembers the song and its lyrics, and that her mother sang it to her as a lullaby years ago.
