History
The Traditional celebration of life and the coming harvest.
Children are told that Spinner of Tales is the one who delivers presents.
Execution
Decorations of Blue, silver, and gold go up starting around 2 weeks before the festival.
Shops move to temporary stalls around the bonfire field and festival games are held.
Components and tools
A bonfire is hosted in a local field around the Farmer's Market District. There, families bring burnable trash and debris from the previous year to burn. It is considered a great honor to have your field selected as carbon from the ash leads to a bountiful harvest for years to come.
Before the fire is lit bodies of those who passed away in the previous 6 months are brought to be added to the pile. This allows Bahamut, dragon god of justice to return their souls to nature and bring new life.
Participants
The King usually gives a speech blessing the year to come from Onora Citadel to open the ceremonies.
Observance
Prayers and offerings to mainly Bahamut, dragon god of justice are to ensure the success of the coming year's harvest.
It's also a time for family and gift-giving to show your love and appreciation for their hard work over the past year.
On the night of 30/2 the bonfire is lit and a wild party is thrown. Its common for individuals to consume Scurva and dance through the night.
