Alithryan Galley

The Alithryan style of Galley is very similar to the traditional style of boat used and developed across the rest of the world. While this style of boat has two significant variations, both are considered to be the same subset. Alithryan Galleys have one additional deck between the main deck and the lower deck.
In the militaristic version of Alithryan Galleys, this deck is known as the firing deck. Additional ballistas are placed along the firing deck on most Alithryan Galleys, where in rare circumstances, canons might be available.
In the domestic version of an Alithryan Galley, the middle deck is used for crew quarters. These ships were more for trade or diplomatic missions, or in rarer circumstances, military operations that were land-based as they could move additional troops.
