Nessa Tower

I feel safe with the tower right there. Though, I think we should have one at the other side of the settlement as well. The settlement is pretty big...Though, I do guess I see it from the other side...

Nessa Tower is a landmark on the planet of Areu. It's there to show the way to safety for those who have gotten lost on barren planet.
The tower is around 30 meters tall and located around 40 meters away from the settlement gates. It's built with Ark, concrete and Diamonds. The Ark was used to strengthen the concrete. The Diamonds were used to store magic spells that always light up the tower and warns when Monsters are close by. A new addition is that they warn when earthquakes are incoming. But these warnings aren't always accurate.

The concrete is colored black, and the tower is usually lit up by the diamonds in different colors depending on the time of the day. It will blink, and a sound will be heard all over the settlement and close by when there is monsters coming.

History

As soon as the settlement of Nessa was established, the tower was built, since The Station flying above the settlement isn't always visible. The tower is helpful both for the people who are coming from the Station and for the Extractors going home after having been out working in the mines or other work areas. For the people traveling from the Station to pick up or leave products, the tower is used to navigate.

Tourism

A very small number of people visit the settlement every year just to be able to say that they have visited it. These people usually visit the Nessa Tower and a small museum in the middle of the settlement. People with money will also be able to pay for a guided tour to the Areu Diamonds caves as well as the Ark caves. All of these people usually also buy keychains with the tower.
