Wings of Salore
A lost technology found in the ruined city of Salore, Korbasa, that granted folks flight.

When Elma Pritchell and her team discovered the ruined city of Salore in the mountains of Korbasa (on the east coast of Anvil), they uncovered many unique artifacts lost to time.
The largest discoveries were made in The Salore Hoard, a huge trove of treasures stored within a stone vault dug deep into the mountainside. Items from daily life were also found throughout the strangely untouched ruins, including a sizeable collection of fertility totems.
Elma was most excited to discover several sets of mysterious wings of different sizes that attach to different folk bodies. In some precarious testing with many safety nets, Elma herself tried to use a set to see how they worked - but unfortunately was unable to make them function or even glide with them.
No one has any idea how they worked, but it's clear that they were not decorative or fashion statements and were used for flying up and down the steep mountainous terrain. Some folks theorise that this technology allowed the predominantly corvidan population who lived here to plunder so much loot to store safely out of reach in the vault - though this idea needs further evidence to support it.
The architecture and layout of the remaining structures hints that there were once large landing platforms for descending folks, but no clues remain about how they got back up again.
