Demographics

The main nationality of Remeyae is Polar, but it’s not uncommon to see a midlander.

Government

The laws can be simplified to say; “Don’t hurt anyone or damage anything and you’ll be fine.” Of course, it’s a bit more complicated than that if you get into a legal situation. There isn’t a tax on essentials, but there is a tax on precious metals, valuable stone such as marble and basalt, alcohol or alcoholic beverages, furniture and land. The land tax is pretty high, but it can be cut depending on what land you’re buying and the reason you’re using it. The government enforces that fact well so they don’t get accused of hiding it.

Defences

The country is surrounded by water. The east and west borders touch the ocean and the north and south borders are lined by huge river channels with very fast currents. Even so, the borders are heavily monitored.

Assets

There are many unique species of plants and animals here, so I’ll try to make the list seem simple. There are trees ranging in size from small to tallest in the world. Some plants are primarily used for the purpose of tripping another person up. Fungi aren't mentioned in the header, but there are large, glowing mushrooms that kill most things that eat it, yet the spores are completely harmless. Some flowers smell sweet but will probably give you a headache, while others just smell sweet, bitter, tart or sentless. Grains exist that sometimes won’t even reach your knees in height. There are lizards that fly. Singularly horned horses in some pretty odd colors. There are some fuzzy long tailed hummingbirds. The end of a mouse’s tail is tufted. The squirrels are more social than anywhere else.

History

The country was founded by a group of people who escaped Ilinia’s oppressive dictatorship.

Geography

Remeyae is a very large country. Its geography varies. Among the geographical features are mountain ranges, lone mountains, deserts, rivers, lakes, seas, subtropical forests, tropical forests, temperate forests, short grass fields, long grass fields, flower fields, rock fields, sand fields, and caves. Remeyae is too warm for glaciers to form.

Natural Resources

Remeyae is rich in wood, marble and basalt. There are basalt quarries in one of the deserts to take from huge, extinct volcanoes. Miners have to be careful with extracting marble from freshwater bodies.
